Gentle And Precise Treatment

The DEKA CO2 lasers utilized for the QuietNite treatment can penetrate at an ideal depth to be incredibly precise but also very gentle on the soft tissue it is being used on. This is a minimally invasive procedure that results in zero bleeding and no side effects or necessary downtime. Most patients will require three successive treatments, all spaced around 21 days apart, with any necessary follow-up treatments being done as needed or on an annual basis.

Fractional Ablation

While the DEKA QuietNite treatment is minimally invasive and results in zero bleeding, tiny thermal wounds (called fractional ablations) are created. These fractional ablations are made without having to damage the tissue around the wound. This means that the body can heal itself very quickly and generate necessary new collagen in as little as 30 days. This new collagen will tighten and tone your new palate and oropharyngeal area to improve or eliminate your snoring. Once treatment is complete, it has been found that in as little as 30 days, you should see markedly great results. Your apnea-hypopnea index or AHI will decrease. Your AHI is the combined average number of apneas and hypopneas that occur every hour of sleep. Your respiratory disturbance index, or RDI, will also decrease. Your RDI is the number of abnormal breathing events occurring every hour of sleep. Both of these, on average, decrease by 25% with patients who undergo the DEKA QuietNite treatment.
